Job Description
Interim Site Supervisor on a FTC (3 month) or contract basis required for an automotive small/medium component manufacturer based in Daventry. The ideal candidate will be based locally and have experience managing a production environment as well as strong management skills.
Interim Site Supervisor Job Overview
* Ensure all staff are kitted, have works orders and SOP's* Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is maintained at all times* Responsible for stock checks and PI's* Ensure that resource is in place to meet the plan* Ensure that all staff are working to plan and full efficiency* Ensure all product is correctly identified and in the correct place on shopfloor.* Transfer labour to required areas* Liaise and coordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications* Work directly with operatives* Ensure safe working practices are maintained and 'Standard Operations' adhered to* Ensure that non-conformance is challenged and counter-measures are agreed and implemented* Report and act upon plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance team* Contribute in the improvement of working procedures by constantly looking for solutions to ensure the best productivity results and ensuring compliance with procedures, operating instructions and work instructionsInterim Site Supervisor Job Requirements
* Proven track record within manufacturing management* Significant work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotiveInterim Site Supervisor Salary & Benefits
* Salary: Circa £35,000 (dependent on skillset & experience)
* Working hours - Monday - Friday 8-4
* 25 days holiday + bank hols
