L3 SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT ; PART TIME; 30 HOURS PER WEEK; TERM TIME ONLY We are seeking an experienced and dedicated L3 SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT from September 2026 to work with our wonderful part time Lead Teacher and highly qualified team of support staff. In September 2023, we opened our Oak Tree SEND Unit, a Local Authority commissioned specialist resource provision for children with Education, Health and Care Plans identifying communication and interaction as primary need. Oak Tree operates as an integral part of our inclusive school community: The highly inclusive culture is one of the standout features of Dawley Brook. Pupils who have struggled elsewhere thrive here (Ofsted March 2024). This academic year will see extensive Local Authority capital investment in our Oak Tree SEND Unit leading to further places being available towards the start of 2026/27. This is an exciting time to be joining our school and the successful applicant will be helping to shape our extended SEND provision within its new premises, working with an experienced team of staff.
