University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a Clinical Fellow in Dermatology, Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).

Job Title: Clinical Fellow - Dermatology. Hours: 1.0 WTE (40 HRS). Job Type: 12 Months, Fixed Term. Work Locations: Bristol Royal Infirmary, Weston General Hospital, South Bristol Community Hospital and Southmead Hospital.
Main duties of the job The department is looking to recruit a clinical fellow whose schedule will include set days working from dermatology centre to provide stability for the clinical workforce. The post holder will work in all aspects of dermatology, suited to their experience and competencies and the priorities of service provisions. As well as the Dermatology Centre, based in the BRI, the post holder may work across other peripheral services based in Weston General hospital or/and South Bristol Community Hospital.
About us The Bristol Dermatology Centre is a self-contained facility including a phototherapy suite, contact dermatitis suite, treatment area, skin surgery theatres & diagnostic procedure rooms, administration and consultant offices. The Dermatology Department provides a full range of services to the population of Bristol and adjacent areas.
Person Specification Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge of NHS priorities with reference to Dermatology
Strong IT Skills
Risk Management awareness and able to assess clinical risk
Up to date Knowledge and experience of dermatology
Skills and Abilities
Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in dermatology
Evidence of a special interest and expertise that complement those of other consultants in the department and is consistent with the trust service strategy
Additional and Aptitudes
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, clinical colleagues, support staff and other colleagues
Good knowledge of, and ability to use spoken and written English
Ability to present effectively to an audience, using a variety of methods, and to respond to questions and queries
Ability to develop effective working relationships on and individual basis with all levels of staff both within and across divisions
Ability to be a flexible team member
Qualification and Training
Professional GMC Registration and appropriate qualifications
MRCP part 1 and 2
High academic qualifications eg MSc, MD or phD
