Your pay rate as a full time Laboratory technician:
You will be paid £13.63 per hour
Typical working hours as a full time Laboratory technician:
You will be working on the Day shift from 06:00 until 18:00 4on4off shift pattern
Your role as a Laboratory technician:
* Oversee housekeeping, ensuring readiness for work
* Support with sample/benchmark shopping if required
* Stock consumables, follow cleaning schedules, and comply with audit standards
* Perform equipment calibrations, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintain paperwork
* Manage ingredient stocks, packaging, equipment, and request samples as needed
* Support the Lab team with sample preparation, production sample retrieval, and testing
* Handle daily dispatches, raw material receipt, and assist with sensory testing
* Manage production material assessments and act as a Health and Safety advocate
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
* The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a laboratory format
* The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a food/drink manufacturing environment
