Due to continued business success, my client, a Glasgow based dynamic, growth-focused specialist in commercial façade, glazing, roof maintenance and repair services is now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager. With nationwide coverage and an expanding client portfolio, they’re looking to strengthen and build their reputation as the go-to partner for commercial property owners, facilities managers, and building operators across the UK
As a new Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Current clients include supermarkets, hospitals, schools and factories and includes both planned maintenance contracts and reactive work.
Key tasks include:
Conducting market research and developing and implementing sales strategies
Preparing proposals and delivering presentations to clients including private commercial property owners, architects, FM companies and public sector.
Collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
What are we looking for:
Prior experience in either the construction, roofing, glazing or commercial property maintenance industr
Strong skills in business development, lead generation, and sales strategy
Experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
Ability to analyse market trends, conduct research, and identify growth opportunities
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales-specific software is advantageous
Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
