We're currently recruiting for a Team Leader on our Night Shift to be based at our site in Hatfield on our contract with Arla (Dairy). We run a large fleet with 100 vehicles, and 200 drivers.
This is working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working 7pm till 7am.
Pay, benefits and more:
We're looking to offer a salary of up to GBP 30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:

Support the Shift Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations during your shift with a huge emphasis on safety, deputising in their absence

Assist with executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resource available at site and keep the customer updated

Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment
What you need to succeed at XPO:

It's important you have exposure of working in a fast:paced environment : no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet

Previous experience supervising and developing a team within a complex transport environment

Proven experience within transport and a good understanding of compliance and driver hours
