Job Description:
EMEA Employment Tax Advisor within the Corporate Tax team, working closely with EMEA Tax Advisory colleagues and the broader Global Corporate Tax and Employment Tax teams. The team collaborates with HR EMEA Employment Tax Operations to advise HR teams on Employment Tax matters related to Compensation, Benefits, Pensions, Payroll, and Global Mobility across EMEA.
As an Employment Tax Advisor - Vice President in the Corporate Tax department, you will provide advice to Lines of Business, Expenses, and Contingent Worker teams regarding Employment Tax issues. You will work closely with HMRC and other regional Tax Authorities.
Job Responsibilities
* Identify Employment Tax risks and provide advice across the EMEA region.
* Participate in regular meetings with SMEs across the region to identify new Employment Tax matters and advise accordingly.
* Collaborate with Payroll teams to review new wage codes before implementation.
* Escalate and communicate new Employment Tax matters and risks to the EMEA Employment Tax lead and relevant stakeholders.
* Assist with filing of the UK PAYE Settlement Agreement and other Employment Tax returns regionally.
* Support Tax Authority audits, information requests, and inquiries as needed.
* Monitor Employment Tax changes and advise stakeholders accordingly.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
* UK Employment Tax specialist, CTA qualified or equivalent.
* Experience with Employment Tax matters including Global Mobility Tax, Benefits, Expenses, Compensation, and Share plans.
* Willingness to learn, proactive in taking on projects, and collaborative across teams and departments.
* Strong record-keeping and risk management skills.
