Buxton ward, The Children’s Assessment Unit, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are looking for Newly Qualified Paediatric Nurses to qualify by Summer 2026 to join our dedicated and vibrant team.
We provide a comprehensive Preceptorship scheme for a minimum of 12 months, including a specialised two‑week supernumerary induction programme in September 2026 (to be confirmed). This introduces you to the Clinical Educators, the NNUH team, and provides workshops to develop clinical skills. You will also have opportunities to complete a transitional learning needs analysis, access bespoke CPD sessions, and participate in the clinical Skills programme with an IV drug administration day for newly qualified nurses.
When you start, you will be assigned an appropriately trained preceptor/mentor who will support and work with you throughout your preceptorship.
