Overview
The Fleet Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of the company’s fleet of Class‑approved Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) operating across the UK, Western Europe, and the Baltic region.
Responsibilities
* Provide fleet‑wide technical support, proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and long‑term asset management.
* Act as the company’s technical representative at shipbuilders’ yards during new‑build and refit projects to ensure vessels are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with the company’s technical and commercial interests.
* Perform travel, on‑call support, attendance at dockings, and occasional sailing with vessels to diagnose and resolve defects.
* Participate in the on‑call rota (currently 2 weeks in 4) to provide out‑of‑hours technical support.
* Receive appropriate compensation in line with company policy.
