We are looking for a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site maintenance, repair, and refurbishment services for our car carriers, waste bins, and the innovative Modalohr train wagon concept.
Responsibilities
* Travel to customer locations to perform maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments on equipment
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, executing necessary repairs
* Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and prolong equipment life
* Fabricate and weld components as required for repairs and modifications
* Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
* Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards and regulations
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
* At least 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably within the transportation sector
* Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
