The Role Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 Specialisms considered: Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics, Engineering or Food Technology Delivering practical and theory-based lessons in line with the national curriculum Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained in workshops Planning and marking responsibilities depending on the length of booking Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies The School Mixed comprehensive secondary school Strong focus on creativity, innovation, and technical skills Supportive leadership team and collaborative DT department Well-equipped workshops and specialist teaching spaces Good transport links across North-East London The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Specialism in Design & Technology Recent experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools Confident managing practical classroom environments Strong behaviour management skills Flexible and adaptable approach ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
