You’ll deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, contribute to the school’s vibrant music programme, and support students in building their skills and confidence. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver inspiring Music lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Support student progress in performance, composition, and listening skills.
* Lead or contribute to extra-curricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, or music clubs.
* Prepare students for concerts, assessments, and school productions.
* Promote a classroom environment that celebrates creativity and collaboration.
* Participate in curriculum planning and whole-school events.
* Engage with students of all abilities in a positive and inclusive way.
Qualifications and Experience:
* QTS and a degree in Music or a related subject (essential).
* Open to Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners.
* Strong musical ability in performance or composition (or both).
* Confident in using music technology and teaching practical music.
* A passion for music education and engaging all learners.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
