Security Officer Contract: Professional Services, Production & Technology Location: Telford, TF3 4ER Hours of work: 42 Working Pattern: 7 nights on / 4 off / 3 days on / 7 off / 4 days on / 3 off Contract Type: Permanent Hourly Rate: £14.45 Are you passionate about safety and delivering a great customer experience?​ As a Security Officer with ISS you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations. The Role Ensure the safety and security of the site, colleagues, visitors, and contractors at all times Remain vigilant and respond promptly and professionally to any suspicious activity or incidents onsite Act as a front-of-house representative, providing a professional and welcoming experience for visitors and clients Carry out regular internal and external patrols of the client’s facility, ensuring all areas remain secure and compliant Prevent unauthorised access through effective access control and security procedures Maintain awareness of all onsite activity and daily events to support the smooth operation of the site Build positive and professional working relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders Follow all Health & Safety procedures and report any hazards, incidents, or breaches promptly Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider security team, depending on operational requirements About You Previous security experience A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA licence Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech Great attention to detail and a consistent approach A team player with good customer service skills New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
