SEN/SEMH Teacher
Job Title: SEN/SEMH Teacher (KS3-KS5) - Alternative Provision Location: Blackburn Contract Type: Full-Time Salary: £30,000 Start Date: ASAP through to September
We're looking for a passionate and resilient teacher - or an experienced HLTA (Level 4) ready to step into teaching - to join our Alternative Provision team.
We are an inclusive, student-centred Alternative Provision in Blackburn serving learners with complex SEN and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across Key Stages 3 to 5. Many of our students have EHCPs and have faced barriers to education in mainstream settings. We're seeking an educator who is flexible, emotionally intelligent, and truly committed to making a difference.
About the Role: Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual needs

Foster a safe, supportive, and consistent classroom environment

Work collaboratively with a skilled team including the SENCO, pastoral staff, and therapists

Use trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support behaviour and emotional regulation

Support EHCP outcomes through personalised planning and regular assessment
