Salary: £22,912.50 per annum
Contract: 12-13 months FTC, start dates usually in June/July
Hybrid Working: 3 days per week in office, more if needed
Eligibility: Undergraduate degree requiring a placement year (Master’s students not eligible)
Commute: Apply only if you live within 60 minutes of MK15 8HG or will relocate to Milton Keynes
What will you be doing?
* Support the Fleet Services Support Manager to ensure vehicle downtime is minimal, resulting in higher utilisation and optimisation, liaising with 3rd party suppliers, dealers and customers as appropriate.
* Assist Fleet & Customer Operations Executives with life asset management tasks, including managing and raising ad hoc invoices from the rental system such as excess mileage charges, write-offs, fines, insurance and sales invoices.
* Coordinate logistics movements for customers and rental locations, working with 3rd party suppliers.
* Generate insightful fleet reporting regularly.
* Generate customer and head office invoices to locations to ensure the Mobility revenue stream is maintained.
* Liaise with Finance to ensure invoices are processed correctly and within SLA, maintaining effective payment management.
* Conduct regular research and industry awareness to keep the Mobility Services Management Team up to date on environmental, legal, economic and political developments affecting the fleet and rental business.
What are we looking for?
* Currently studying a degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
* Strong analytical, accuracy and problem‑solving skills.
* Self‑motivated with excellent organisational skills and initiative.
* Proactive and flexible, able to react to changing circumstances and demands.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* PC literacy – Microsoft Office skills.

What Our Recruitment Process Looks Like

* You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test.
* If you pass this stage, you will complete an online video interview.
* If successful, you attend an in‑person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll meet managers and current undergraduates to learn more about the placement year.
