Job Overview Are you a highly skilled, electrically biased engineer looking to make a real difference in healthcare? NHS Frimley Health Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and adaptable Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Facilities Maintenance team. About The Role You will deliver a high-quality, flexible maintenance service supporting our commitment to excellent patient care. Your expertise will cover Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), repairs, alterations, testing, and installation of electrical systems and equipment across our Trust estate. This role requires you to work proactively, often responding to complex faults with limited initial information, ensuring our environments are safe, reliable, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors. Main duties of the job Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across electrical installations and services Diagnose and resolve faults promptly, ensuring minimum disruption Support capital projects by witnessing and accepting new electrical works Maintain compliance with all statutory and Trust-specific safety policies, including Legionella, Asbestos, and Electrical Safety Work safely across diverse Trust environments, including children’s wards and clinical areas Your Skills And Experience Proven multi-skilled engineering background, with a strong electrical bias Experience with AHUs, motors, digital Building Management Systems, and electrical testing Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team Competent in interpreting schematic drawings and specifications Willingness to participate in on-call duties and respond flexibly to service needs Previous hospital or healthcare environment experience is desirable but not essential Working for our organisation Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is committed to being an inclusive and disability confident employer and has been awarded the Gold for the Armed Forces Employment Recognition Scheme.
