Job Purpose
You will transport treated or untreated liquid sludge via road tanker/tipper between United Utilities sites, using tankers from 13t to 32t payload. You will ensure compliance with legal requirements such as driver’s hours, vehicle checks, and license verifications.
This is a shift role with a shift allowance added to the salary.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
You will load and unload tankers and bulk tipper trucks using various systems, ensuring GVW and axle load limits are respected. Responsibilities include:
* Following Health and Safety procedures, operating vehicles safely, fuel-efficiently, and providing excellent customer service
* Assisting field staff as needed
* Working with operations to achieve optimal sludge quality for transportation
* Adapting to changing schedules and demands
* Maintaining professional driving standards
