Chief Financial Officer – High-Growth Hospitality Business
Sanderson King is proud to be supporting a new client, referred to us through recommendation, to appoint a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a rapidly growing hospitality business based in London. With ambitious plans to scale and external funding on the horizon, this role offers a rare opportunity to shape and lead the financial strategy of a business at a pivotal stage of its journey.
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded and strategic finance leader with a proven track record of supporting high-growth hospitality or consumer-facing businesses — ideally with experience operating at scale and pace. We’re particularly interested in candidates who have played a key role in helping multi-site, service-led businesses expand, optimise operations, and prepare for investment or exit.
About the Role:
As CFO, you will be a core member of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO, board, and investors to deliver financial leadership, strategic insight, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a robust finance strategy, building a high-performing team, and driving profitability across the business.
You’ll take ownership of board-level reporting, investor communications, financial modelling, and forecasting, while also playing a hands-on role in building scalable financial systems and processes.
This is a role for a CFO who wants to make a visible, measurable impact, and who is energised by transformation, growth, and delivering performance in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and execution of the business’s financial strategy
* Provide commercial and financial leadership across the executive team
* Manage and optimise EBITDA performance, cost controls and margin improvement
* Drive external investment readiness, including potential fundraising activity
* Support business planning, forecasting and modelling for scalable growth
* Build and develop the in-house finance team and structure
* Oversee internal controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks
* Act as a key voice at board level, contributing to the company’s wider strategic direction
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience as CFO or Finance Director in a hospitality, multi-site retail, or consumer services environment
* Demonstrable success in growing a business at pace
* Experience managing fundraising processes, investor relations or working alongside private equity
* Strong command of EBITDA, commercial levers and how to scale profitably
* A proactive, hands-on leader with excellent communication and influencing skills
* Comfortable in both strategic and operational environments

* Base salary up to £175,000 + package
