Full Time Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE)

Portico GB Ltd is a trusted and well-established subcontractor specialising in the supply and installation of high-quality UPVC and Aluminium windows and doors for the new build sector. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be the key point of contact between our clients, suppliers, Contracts Managers and installation teams, driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the business.
Key Responsibilities – Operations Manager:
7. Manage the daily operations of the company’s window supply and installation services, ensuring smooth workflow and coordination across teams
8. Oversee multiple ongoing projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Liaise with site managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the seamless delivery of products and services
9. Coordinate and manage resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal productivity
10. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of operational and administration staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and training to succeed
11. Implement and monitor quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards of installation and customer satisfaction. Working closely with the Head of Quality Assurance in post installation to improve our overall customer offering
12. Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff
13. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any operational issues that arise
14. Identify areas for process improvement and work with senior management to implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce costs
Person Specification – Operations Manager:
15. Proven experience in operations management, ideally within the construction, window installation, or building supply sector
16. Strong knowledge of project management principles, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
17. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
18. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals
19. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
20. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams
21. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
