Hours: 16 - 20 hours per week on a rota basis, with overtime available to cover sickness and holiday
Monday-Friday 09:00-13:00
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Follow health and safety, cleaning, food preparation, and till procedures.
* Ensure dishes and crockery are cleaned to a high standard.
* Support food preparation as directed by the Chef.
* Attend on-site functions as needed (additional hours paid).
* Clean all catering areas thoroughly.
* Monitor, clean, and record refrigeration temperatures daily.
* Serve customers in the Bistro with a friendly attitude.
* Maintain high food hygiene standards.
* Assist with stock control and restocking.
* Handle cash and operate electronic tills accurately.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
* Ability to take direction from management.
* Experience with ordering and stock control.
* Food Hygiene qualification.
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and adapt.
Additional Requirements
* Active participation in team meetings.
* Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
* Flexibility to undertake additional duties as needed.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
* Commitment to health and safety practices, including safeguarding protocols.
