Our client is looking for a motivated and design‑focused Interior Designer to join their Aviation & Transportation team in their studio. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly collaborative group of designers on complex aviation environments, from premium lounges to terminal interiors. The Role
The Interior Designer will support project teams across all stages of the design process, contributing to the delivery of thoughtful, engaging and well‑executed interior environments that enhance the passenger experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in all phases of the design process for aviation environments, from premium lounges to terminal interiors.
* Contribute to elevating the hospitality experience in travel by translating brand stories into spatial experiences that evoke emotion and belonging.
* Assist in preparing design documentation, including drawings, presentations and sample boards, ensuring accuracy and consistency under the guidance of senior team members.
* Help source materials and furnishings, supporting the team in maintaining high design quality and operational practicality.
* Participate in team meetings and design reviews, actively listening, asking questions and applying feedback to improve work.
* Contribute to presentation materials, helping organise visuals and content that clearly communicate design intent.
* Coordinate with internal team members to help maintain project timelines and deliverables.
* Remain curious and engaged, developing knowledge of aviation design trends, brand storytelling and hospitality principles.
Requirements
* Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or equivalent.
* 3+ years of professional experience, ideally within aviation, hospitality or luxury commercial sectors.
* A portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design excellence from concept through to realisation.
* Interest in how interior design enhances guest experience and brand identity.
* Experience using Revit, with familiarity in FF&E selection, detailing and documentation.
* Developing organisational and communication skills.
* Previous experience contributing to complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
* Interest in sustainable design and innovation.
