Job Description
Connells Group has a great opportunity for a customer service professional to join their busy client accounts team in Moreton, Merseyside. You will be providing support services to all Lettings Branches, Landlords, and Tenants. Your aim is to deliver a service that exceeds all customer expectations.
Responsibilities include:
1. Handling queries from landlords, tenants, and branches via phone and email promptly and professionally.
2. Maximizing rental payment collection through communication with debtors via telephone, email, and SMS, negotiating payment plans, monitoring aged debt, and maintaining accurate records.
3. Loading and verifying property, landlord, and tenant details onto the client accounts system, ensuring all fees are correctly charged.
4. Processing renewals, tenancy terminations, and deposit returns.
5. Identifying and allocating received funds correctly.
6. Processing rent payments and remitting to landlords daily via Faster Payments and cheque.
7. Producing statements for landlords detailing account transactions.
8. Processing requests from landlords, tenants, branches, and LSC.
9. Performing ad hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.
Skills and Experience:
1. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with confidence in handling challenging queries via phone and email.
2. Proficiency in PC and related technology.
3. Strong writing skills.
4. Good analytical abilities.
5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Flexible approach to work.
7. Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
