The Role
As a Senior Childcare Solicitor, you will:
* Manage a high-quality caseload of public law matters, including care, supervision, EPO and placement proceedings
* Undertake advocacy at all stages, including contested final hearings
* Represent children on the instruction of guardians, ensuring their voices are heard
* Provide supervision and leadership within the department, supporting junior colleagues
* Drive business development initiatives and strengthen your professional network
About You
* Children Panel Membership is essential
* A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ years' PQE in childcare law
* Proven experience in care proceedings, advocacy and working with children's guardians
* Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience aligned with Legal Aid Agency requirements
* An established following, active caseload, or strong referral network
* Exceptional client care and a collaborative approach
