Responsibilities
* Assist catering staff with the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
* Serve meals and beverages to service users, staff and visitors.
* Maintain storage procedures and stock rotation.
* Ensure all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
* Help the kitchen and related areas meet operational hygiene standards in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
* Liaise with the wider team, including dietitians, regarding dietary requirements and planned meals.
Qualifications
* Relevant Catering Qualification (Desirable).
* Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Location
Location: Victoria Road, Huyton, Liverpool, L36 5SA. You will be working at Victoria Gardens, a specialist locked rehabilitation service for people with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge, as well as a ward for older females. You will support the service to equip service users with skills required for community living and increased independence.
