Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage end-to-end procurement projects.
* Ensure value for money and alignment with strategic and financial objectives.
* Advise stakeholders on procurement strategy, compliance, and best practice.
* Deliver procurement in line with UK Public Procurement Regulations.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of category management.
* Use data insights to drive decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Provide training and support on e-tendering and procurement tools.
* Maintain up-to-date procurement templates, processes, and intranet content.
* Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
* Integrate social value, sustainability, and innovation into procurement activities.
Skills & Experience
* Experience managing procurement projects, ideally in the public sector.
* Knowledge of UK procurement legislation and tendering procedures.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficiency with e-tendering systems and procurement platforms.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and shape strategy.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
