Industrial Disease Solicitor - Manchester - Hybrid - up to £55,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a growing and dynamic Industrial Disease team within a well-regarded law firm. The team is recognised for its technical expertise in personal injury and industrial disease claims, and this role offers the chance to work on complex and challenging cases while developing specialist knowledge in one of the most technical areas of Personal Injury law.
In this role, you will manage a varied caseload of Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), and Short Tail claims. You will take ownership of your cases, conducting detailed investigations into liability and quantum, reviewing medical and employment records, drafting legal documents, and instructing experts as required.
This position provides excellent client-facing opportunities, allowing you to build strong relationships with insurers, experts, and claimants, while developing and honing your technical expertise in industrial disease matters. It is ideally suited to a solicitor with a solid personal injury background who is looking to specialise further in this growing and highly technical area.
The Candidate
* Qualified Personal Injury Solicitor with experience in Industrial Disease claims
* Strong understanding of the litigation process, from instruction through to resolution
* Solid academic background and commitment to continuous professional development
* Able to manage a varied caseload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines consistently
* Highly organised with excellent time-management skills
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly when reviewing medical and employment records
