Key duties of the MET Technician include:
12. Removing and refitting vehicle panels and components to high standards
13. Conducting assessments of additional damage and liaising with repair consultants
14. Completing vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs efficiently
15. Performing steering geometry alignment and adjustments
16. Evacuating and recharging air conditioning systems
17. Working with plastic repairs and glazing
18. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with quality standards
Candidate requirements for the MET Technician role:
19. Proven experience as a MET Technician or Auto Electrician
20. Working knowledge of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
21. Relevant mechanical, suspension, or MET accreditation (ATA preferred)
22. Experience with vehicle electrics and auto electrical systems
23. Familiarity with steering geometry, air conditioning, and plastic repairs
24. LCV experience is advantageous but not essential
25. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
