Part-time Customer Intelligence Officer, covering Birmingham, Solihull & Coventry - start in September Your new company We’re recruiting a pool of temporary staff to support weekly, ad-hoc transport surveys across bus, tram, and train networks on behalf of our client, who is based in the West Midlands. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for reliable, detail-oriented individuals, with the potential for long-term, permanent roles. These roles will be based across Birmingham, Solihull and Coventry. Your new role You’ll be involved in collecting passenger data across various modes of transport: Bus Surveys: Positioned at key bus stops, you’ll work in pairs — one person will count passengers boarding and alighting, while the other counts those onboard as the bus arrives. Tram Surveys: You’ll travel between Jewellery Quarter and Edgbaston, recording how many passengers get on and off at each stop. Train Station Surveys: Covering New Street, Selly Oak, Sutton Coldfield, and Walsall stations, you’ll count station users, check ticket usage, and offer support where needed. Shift Details: Shifts run from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. If you don’t drive or have access to public transport for early starts, we’ll provide a taxi service. You’ll be paired with an experienced officer to ensure you’re fully supported on the job.
