Key Responsibilities
National & Regional Listings
* Secure new listings across national and regional retail accounts
* Lead commercial conversations with buyers and decision makers
* Manage the full process from initial contact through to confirmed listing
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners
* Maintain a live and active pipeline of retail opportunities at all times
* Progress conversations consistently through to conversion
* Follow up professionally and persistently to drive outcomes
* Provide clear visibility on pipeline status, risks and timelines
Distribution Growth
* Expand distribution within existing accounts through additional SKUs and placements
* Identify opportunities to increase facings, space and product visibility
* Support the rollout of new product launches into retail channels
Account Management & Standards
* Act as the primary commercial contact for key retail partners
* Ensure communication with retailers is professional, structured and timely
* Hold retailers accountable to agreed ranging, placement and promotional commitments
* Escalate issues appropriately and ensure they are resolved efficiently
* Identify new channels, retailers and routes to market where the brand has strategic fit
* Support pricing, ranging and promotional decisions with commercial insight
* Work closely with the wider team to align distribution with brand and marketing activity
Internal Reporting & Communication
* Provide weekly updates on pipeline, listings, risks and opportunities
* Maintain accurate records of retailer engagement and progress
* Act as the commercial voice of the market, feeding insight back into the business
What This Role Is Not
* Not a field-based execution role
* Not responsible for local store visits or on-the-ground activation
* Not responsible for creative, marketing or social activity
This role is focused on high-level commercial growth, retailer relationships and distribution.

Key Targets
* Minimum 2 national or regional listings secured per quarter
* Maintain at least 10 live retail opportunities at all times
* Achieve a minimum 50 percent conversion rate from qualified conversations to listings
* Deliver consistent SKU expansion within existing accounts
Summary
This role is critical to scaling Mai Chai commercially. It ensures the brand is not only present in the right retail environments, but growing consistently through strong commercial execution.
The National Accounts & Distribution Manager is responsible for turning opportunity into distribution and driving the next phase of growth for the business.
