This includes practical tasks like cleaning and basic maintenance, reporting any repairs needed and generally being a friendly contact for everyone staying here. You’ll be greeting people, helping with their bookings and dealing helpfully with their enquiries or complaints. You’ll also help to run the campsite shop when needed. Everything you do day-to-day will make a big difference to someone’s holiday, and help to make things run smoothly and to the standard that guests expect from the National Trust. This role is all about making sure that people have their best possible experience of an outdoor holiday with the National Trust.Salary: £12.75 per hourContract: 9 months fixed term contractHours/ working pattern: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. Start date|: February 2026 Internally, within the National Trust, you'll be known as an ‘Outdoors Holidays Operations Assistant’.
