We're currently recruiting a dedicated
Casual Catering Assistant
to join our team at the Dalby Forest Visitor Centre Café on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week. Located in the heart of The Great Yorkshire Forest, our café provides high-quality, locally sourced catering packages for corporate events, team away days and public activity days.
The successful
Casual Catering Assistant
will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with basic food preparation, customer service and generally supporting the operations while adhering to all Health and Food Safety requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Basic food preparation, counter set up and serving of food and beverages
Handling cash and card transactions accurately
Operating coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently
Maintaining the cleanliness of the café and associated working areas
Restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels
Ensuring the highest level of customer care is delivered to customers
Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Following food hygiene, and Health & Safety guidelines in line with training which is provided
Our ideal team member will:
Have own transport due to remote location.

Be flexible to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends and school holidays
Have a passion for delivering outstanding service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride
Be an excellent team player with great communication skills
Possess the ability to work under pressure
