About the Role As Chef de Partie, youll take ownership of your section and play a key role in delivering a menu that blends classic pub dining with refined, modern touches. Youll be trusted to run your section with consistency, keep things organised during busy services, and support the wider brigade to ensure every plate meets the standard expected. Theres room here to contribute ideas, learn from experienced chefs, and continue developing your craft in a kitchen that values attention to detail. About the Client The business is an established, independent pub and restaurant set in a rural location, known locally and further afield for its food. The building itself has character, and the kitchen reflects that same care and thought, with menus shaped around seasonality and produce rather than trends. Its a destination venue rather than a turn-and-burn operation, attracting guests who come for a relaxed atmosphere and well-executed dishes. Working Hours 50 hours per week 4 days on, 3 days off Key Duties Running your section during service with confidence and consistency Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard Supporting the Head Chef with daily prep, service, and menu execution Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team Key Requirements Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment. A passion for creating high-quality fresh seasonal dishes. Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene. A team player with excellent communication skills. The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
