About the Role:
Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised
Operations Support Administrator
to join their team on a permanent basis. This position plays a vital role in supporting various functions within their Operations Team, Site Operations, and other departments
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support -
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the wider Operations Team
Support internal processes and help maintain efficient communication across departments
Accommodation Management -
Manage accommodation bookings for Operations teams via the clients travel partners
Confirm requirements such as location, dates, and quantity
Source appropriate accommodation in line with company standards
Confirm and communicate booking details with employees
Monitor bookings and handle any changes, including occasional out-of-hours amendments
Approve bookings and review related invoices
Consolidate accommodation costs by Job Number
Third-Party Equipment Booking -
Source and book third-party equipment suppliers based on project needs
Gather requirements (equipment, location, and dates)
Obtain competitive quotes from trusted suppliers
Raise Purchase Orders and manage supplier coordination
Ensure timely off-hires of equipment
Approve and verify supplier invoices
Review supplier performance, negotiate pricing, and maintain supplier relationships
Operational Support -
Raise orders as directed, including for internal transport and other operational needs
Check supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness
Candidate Requirements -
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Prior experience in a similar support role within operations or logistics is advantageous
Competency in Microsoft Office and general business systems
