Are you an experienced operations or production leader who can think on your feet and drive performance across a busy, safety-critical environment?
Do you come from a manufacturing, heavy engineering, military or similar background?
An excellent opportunity is available to join a market-leading heavy engineering specialist, taking responsibility for two neighbouring operational sites based at Liverpool docks.
This role would suit a Production Manager, Operations Supervisor, Workshop Manager or similar, looking to step into a broader, site-wide leadership role covering production, QHSE, contractor management and logistics

The company is a well-established heavy engineering specialist with an excellent reputation for staff development and long-term retention. Following an internal promotion, they are now seeking a Assistant Site Manager to support and deputise for the Site Manager, with a defined progression plan into a senior site leadership role.

* Responsible for two adjacent operational sites at Liverpool docks
* Overseeing production output, QHSE, contractor activity and logistics operations
* Working closely with the Site Manager to support day-to-day site leadership
* Full technical and operational training provided
Person:
* Experience as an Operations Supervisor, Production Manager, Workshop Manager or similar
* Strong background in leadership, production, site operations and contractor management
* Exposure to QHSE and safety-critical environments
* Background within manufacturing, heavy engineering or the armed forces
* Engineering or logistics experience advantageous but not essential
* Comfortable working autonomously in a hands-on leadership role
