Work model: Remote based, must be able to travel within the EU and to the UK
Travel: Occasional travel for industry conferences and key supplier meetings
Role Overview:
Following a sustained period of strong growth, a leading Specialist in Pharmaceutical Supply is expanding its team to support the next phase of its development. This is focused on strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, margin protection, and ensuring reliable access to commercial drug products for global clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build, expand, and professionalize a global supplier network across US, EU, LATAM, APAC, and MENA
* Partner with CTS and Commercial teams to translate pipeline growth into proactive sourcing and capacity planning
* Secure competitive pricing and terms to protect margins as the business scales
* Lead supplier qualification, audits, compliance, and performance management
* Own supplier relationships, manage risk, and ensure supply continuity
* Bring external market insight into internal growth and strategy discussions
Ideal Candidate:
* Significant senior-level experience in strategic supply chain and sourcing roles within regulated life sciences environments
* Demonstrated track record of delivering strategic sourcing initiatives
* Extensive experience negotiating supplier agreements and pricing at scale
* Proven capability in auditing, managing, and improving supplier compliance and performance
* Strong commercial awareness and margin sensitivity
* Confident and effective when engaging externally with senior stakeholders
