We are currently working with an established Freight Forwarder who are seeking an experienced Customs Entry Clerk to join their team based in Dagenham.Key Responsibilities:Create and finalise import and export customs declarationsEnsure adherence to all current customs laws and upcoming regulatory changesReview and resolve queries related to documentation, commodity classifications, duty rates, and licensingAccurately calculate applicable VAT and duty charges for each shipmentManage and process duty reclaims where necessaryKey Requirements:Solid background in freight forwarding is essentialMust have customs entries experience Strong understanding of customs regulations and proceduresFamiliarity with Sequoia software is a plus
