Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join a dynamic and supportive Mental Health Team in Greenock. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker seeking a high-paying locum social work role within adult mental health services.

The Role - Mental Health Social Worker
As a Social Worker within the Mental Health Team, you will manage a varied caseload of adults experiencing complex mental health needs. You will play a key role in promoting recovery, independence, and positive outcomes while ensuring statutory duties are met.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in:
* Adult Mental Health Services
* Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT)
* Care Act assessments
* Mental Health Act work
* Risk assessments and safeguarding adults
* Multi-disciplinary team working
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake comprehensive social work assessments within adult mental health services
* Complete Care Act assessments and support planning
* Carry out risk assessments and safeguarding investigations
* Contribute to Mental Health Act processes where required
* Manage a complex caseload effectively and autonomously
* Work collaboratively with NHS professionals, housing services, and voluntary agencies
* Prepare reports and maintain accurate case records
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA Social Work or equivalent)
* Current SSSC registration
* Proven experience within a Mental Health Team or Community Mental Health setting
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act and Mental Health Act
* Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
* Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment
