A well-established chemical manufacturing business is seeking an electrically biased Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team in Tameside. The Role
Working on a rotating 3-shift pattern (06:00-14:00, 07:00-15:00, 14:00-22:00), you will be responsible for maintaining plant reliability through a combination of preventative and reactive maintenance. You'll play a key role in ensuring production uptime while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance across all plant machinery
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown response
* Fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems
* Identifying and implementing continuous improvements to enhance performance and reliability
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within required timeframes
* Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records
* Providing guidance and mentorship to on-site apprentices
