As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalised care to individuals in their own homes. Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support children with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Develop and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Drive clients to appointments or social outings when required.
Skills
* Experience working with children is highly desirable.
* Valid driving licence and ability to transport clients safely.
* Knowledge of childcare practices and child development principles.
* Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans for individuals.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software. We are looking for individuals who are not only skilled but also possess a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others through their work as Support Workers.
