Position Overview
We are on the lookout for enthusiastic Unqualified Teachers and Cover Supervisors to join our dedicated educational team. Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Cover Supervisor with Standby Education, you will:
* Assist in delivering lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Supervise classrooms, ensuring that all students are able to engage with the curriculum.
* Foster a supportive and collaborative classroom environment that encourages student participation.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff.
* Work alongside special education professionals to support students with disabilities.
* Provide mentoring and tutoring to students, offering additional assistance outside regular class hours.
* Build and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to support student achievement.
* Involve students in creative activities that enhance their overall learning experience.
* Take part in professional development opportunities to keep abreast of educational best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
We seek candidates who have:
* Experience working with children in educational settings.
* A background in special education or experience supporting individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of teaching strategies for students on the autism spectrum is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Experience in mentoring or tutoring roles will be beneficial.
