FP& Analyst - £35,000 - £45,000 - Essex
CMC Consulting is partnering with a leading UK manufacturing business experiencing exciting growth and seeking an analytically minded FP&A Analyst. This role is focused on delivering actionable insights, influencing business decisions, and supporting strategic objectives across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with Business Programme Finance teams to deliver clear, consistent, and high-quality monthly management reporting packs.
* Provide robust financial analysis and actionable insights to support Area Heads of Finance in strategic decision-making.
* Develop and enhance reporting datasets, including detailed Cost of Sales analysis to improve visibility and understanding of performance.
* Identify opportunities to streamline and improve forecasting and reporting processes across the function.
* Support the implementation of new reporting tools and system enhancements, driving efficiency and automation.
* Review reporting timelines and recommend improvements to enhance delivery and efficiency.
* Coordinate scenario updates and system rollovers, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders.
* Maintain reporting timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on deadlines and deliverables.
* Monitor reporting inputs and outputs, proactively identifying and communicating any risks or delays.
* Provide cover and support to the FP&A Manager when required.
Skills & Experience :
* Proven experience within a similar role
* Ideally experience within the manufacturing industry
* ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified – actively studying
* Rounded analytical skill set
