* Salary: up to £38,736 per annum
* Role type: Permanent - RTW in the UK required
* Shifts: Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7am - 3:15pm | Backshift 3:00pm - 1:15am
About the Role: Operation of ITW Gema powder coating system within paint shop to spray parts in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Selection of correct paint for job.
* Selection of correct oven temperatures and track speeds.
* Setting up equipment.
* Control of pre-treatment to clean and treat parts.
* Ensuring correct preparation of parts before painting and how they are placed on line.
* Understanding powder paint properties.
* Understanding coating defects, their causes and how to rectify.
* Carrying out quality checks on coating finish, including DFT & Gloss readings.
* Carrying out stock checks of paints and recording on system.
* Recording details of painted parts and results of quality checks.
* Maintaining equipment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned after use.
* To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company
Requirements:
* Skilled powder painter with ITW Gema system experience required.
* Good knowledge of powder paint process.
* Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.
* Willing to work overtime as and when required.
