Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for a Scheduler for a National Private Care Provider.
About the role:
You will be using scheduling software to manage the day-to-day balancing and allocation of jobs as required. The scheduler will assign critical jobs quickly to achieve strict service level agreements and follow through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring all mandatory work for the following day is imported and distributed nationally into a schedule, allowing technicians to deliver efficiently using scheduling software and ensuring KPI targets are met.
Skills and attributes:
* Assign critical jobs to field technicians efficiently using scheduling software and follow through to completion in line with SLA.
* Manage technician availability through regular communication with Regional Team Managers.
* Ensure all mandatory jobs are assigned and allocated to technicians daily through periodic checks.
* Perform quality checks to ensure scheduling software matches the front-end system.
* Monitor a dedicated inbox to action operational requests.
* Support an inbound technician helpline, resolving queries as required.
* Problem solving and decision making in a fast-paced environment across various subjects.
* Adapt to process changes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
* Ensure all mandatory and KPI work is imported and distributed efficiently into a schedule nationally using scheduling software and periodic checks.
Experience and skills required:
* Planning experience is preferred.
* Positive attitude, enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive approach.
* Assertiveness where necessary.
* Good Microsoft Excel skills.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Ability to prioritize workload.
