An award‑winning, people‑focused law firm with a genuine commitment to development and wellbeing is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join their established Real Estate Disputes team on an interim basis.
This is a critical hire within a busy and well‑regarded department that has been experiencing sustained demand. With one partner currently away and ongoing recruitment challenges in the local market, the team needs a confident senior litigator who can immediately step in and deliver high‑quality, autonomous work.
Your new role
You'll take responsibility for a varied caseload of commercial and residential property disputes, working closely with a highly respected partner and providing support to a small group of juniors. Typical work will include:

* Commercial and residential landlord & tenant disputes
\t
* Dilapidations
\t
* Breach of covenant issues
\t
* Boundary and easement disputes
\t
* Property‑related contract claims
\t
* Advising on a broad spectrum of contentious real estate matters
You'll oversee and support four junior team members (two solicitors, a trainee, and an apprentice) while also managing your own caseload with minimal supervision is very much a role for someone who can "hit the ground running" and operate with confidence and independence.
What you'll need to succeed

* 6+ years PQE in Property Litigation
\t
* Broad experience across commercial and residential disputes
\t
* Confident managing files autonomously
\t
* Comfortable supervising junior lawyers
\t
* Strong communicator who can integrate quickly into the team
\t
* Available at short notice
What you'll get in return
\t
* £270-£400+ per day, depending on experience and location
\t
* 27 days' holiday (if the role were to become permanent)
\t
* Fully remote working.
