Role Responsibilities
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you’ll support the team in delivering high-quality services to a range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Assisting with VAT returns, tax computations, and management accounts preparation
* Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
* Liaising with clients to gather information and provide support with queries
* Assisting with bookkeeping and ensuring client records are accurate and up-to-date
* Collaborating with senior team members on ad hoc tasks and projects
* Using accounting software to streamline processes and maintain efficiency

Candidate Requirements
* AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
* Proven experience in accounts preparation and assisting with tax compliance within a practice environment
* Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
* Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage is advantageous
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
* A team player with a commitment to professional growth and development
