We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer. As part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for effective project management and delivery in line with Powersystems' strategy. Duties and Responsibilities Manage and deliver HV electrical projects including client liaison, coordination, and quality assurance. Create and manage project construction programmes. Attend site progress and coordination meetings; perform quality and safety inspections. Manage commercial elements and financial reporting of projects. Ensure health and safety compliance including RAMS and audits. Coordinate internal and external resources to achieve project goals. Maintain strong client and supplier relationships. Lead in-house teams on layout design, testing, and commissioning procedures. Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers, attend factory tests, and obtain tenders. Attend pre-start and client meetings; manage procurement and logistics. Organise on-site management briefings and complete project reviews. Advise teams on statutory compliance and best practice. Manage interface between Powersystems, clients, and external engineers. Maintain a professional image and contribute to service improvement. What You Need To Be Successful 2–3 years' experience in electrical engineering within contracting or utilities. Project management experience in a similar industry. Strong communication and influence skills at all levels. Resilience under pressure; proactive approach to engineering opportunities. Excellent planning and prioritisation capabilities. HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (or working towards). Strong organisational and IT skills; clear technical and commercial communication. Ability to travel across the UK with overnight stays; full UK driving licence. In Return We Offer £40,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on skills and qualifications.
