NFU Mutual' s Agency in Tunbridge Wells is recruiting for a full time dedicated and proactive Business Developer Employee to join our growing team and provide essential support to our Insurance Sales Advisors.

As a Business Development Employee, you will be responsible for managing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and ensuring a smooth flow of appointments for our sales team to quote for pipeline opportunities. In addition, you will be involved in prospecting and direct mail marketing activities, as well as handling general administrative duties.
The Role:
* Manage the CRM system effectively, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of client information, interactions, and appointments.
* Coordinate and schedule appointments for the sales team, ensuring they are adequately briefed on each opportunity.
* Assist Insurance Sales Advisors in prospecting activities by researching potential leads, identifying target markets, and gathering relevant contact details.
-Execute direct mail marketing campaigns, including preparation of mailings, tracking responses, and updating the CRM system accordingly.
* Support the sales team in managing and prioritizing their pipeline opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and nurturing of leads.
* Prepare reports and presentations as required, summarizing sales activities, appointment outcomes, and other key metrics.
* Provide general administrative support, including managing correspondence, organizing meetings, and maintaining office supplies.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
* Proficiency in using CRM systems, with the ability to manage and update data accurately.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, sales team members, and other stakeholders.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently, while also being a team player.
* Knowledge of insurance products and sales processes is a plus.
