Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated culinary professional to support the smooth operation of a high-quality kitchen environment. The role involves managing the kitchen brigade, ensuring exceptional food quality, and contributing to the development of creative menus. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards of food preparation, service, hygiene, and kitchen organisation while supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
* Manage the kitchen brigade to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of kitchen operations.
* Demonstrate a committed approach to the development of creative menus and service in the kitchen.
* Ensure the quality of food meets the exceptional standards expected in a luxury dining environment.
* Continuously strive towards improvement, achievement, and high performance in the kitchen.
* Ensure the Head Chef is informed of any relevant feedback from guests or team members.
* Assist in kitchen sections and support other duties when required.
* Train and delegate tasks to junior members of the kitchen team.
* Manage daily ordering while considering stock usage, menu planning, and business levels.
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organisation, stock control, and operational standards.
