Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School

Pay: £82.51 per day
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: September

This full-time role is ideal for someone who is patient, caring, and committed to helping children reach their full potential—especially those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or BESD.
Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting students aged 11–16 with day-to-day learning
* Working 1:1 or in small groups to provide targeted support
* Assisting with classroom setup and resource preparation
* Helping to boost pupils’ confidence and engagement
* Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure inclusive learning
What We’re Looking For:
* Empathetic, proactive, and positive attitude
* Experience with or interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
* Team player who’s confident working in a busy school environment
Essential Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* EWC registration (or willingness to register)
* Right to work in the UK
* Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided free)
* Able to provide two recent references
