An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Asset Fabric Manager to join the Estates and Facilities team of a prestigious academic institution with a large and diverse property portfolio.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the effective management, maintenance and long-term sustainability of the institutions built environment. The successful candidate will help protect and enhance a complex estate that combines historic buildings with modern facilities, ensuring spaces remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose for students, staff and visitors.
Working within the Asset Management function, you will provide strategic oversight of building fabric across the estate, supporting lifecycle planning, maintenance strategies and the development of technical standards. You will also contribute to capital projects and wider estate initiatives, including sustainability and decarbonisation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance on the management and maintenance of building fabric across the estate.
Develop and maintain standards for external building elements including roofing systems and building envelopes.
Support lifecycle planning and asset strategies to ensure long-term performance of buildings.
